Taylor Swift marked her latest UK chart milestone with a fittingly patriotic fashion choice, celebrating the simultaneous chart-topping success of her single Patient Zero and album The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore in a Burberry polo shirt, a nod to the British brand in honour of her UK achievement.

The $960 long-sleeve piece featured a contrast plaid detail, worn during an appearance in London on October 2.

Patient Zero debuted at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart, becoming Swift's eighth UK No. 1 single and her third chart-topper of 2026 alone, following earlier hits Opalite and I Knew It, I Knew You from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, marking the first calendar year in which Swift has notched three separate UK No. 1 singles.

Simultaneously, The Life of a Showgirl returned to the top of the Official Albums Chart exactly one year after its original October 3, 2025 release, giving Swift her fifth non-consecutive week at No. 1 with the project.

The dual chart-topping feat, known as an Official Chart Double, marks the fifth time Swift has achieved the distinction with different album-and-single pairings, notably, she's now accomplished it in every calendar year since 2022.

The achievement continues an unusually dominant chart run for The Life of a Showgirl era overall, during the album's original opening week, Swift occupied the entire UK Singles Chart top three simultaneously, with The Fate of Ophelia at No. 1, Opalite at No. 2 and Elizabeth Taylor at No. 3.

The Encore, released September 25, expanded the original album with four additional tracks written during an impromptu trip to Sweden with collaborators Max Martin and Shellback.
