Rapper Kodak Black was booked into the Orange County Jail on Wednesday after being arrested on a felony drug trafficking charge.

As per jail records, the 28-year-old is facing an MDMA trafficking charge. He is being held without bond and is expected to appear before a judge on Thursday, May 7.

The rapper, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, was arrested after an incident occurred outside the Children’s Safety Village, a non-profit organization for children in Orlando, back in November.

It is stated that there was an affidavit of five pages, where Orlando police received information about gunshots fired at the location.

When the police came to the scene, they saw that there was a BMW and a Lamborghini in front of the house. Smelling marijuana, they started searching the cars. During the search, Kapri came to the police.

The police claimed that they found pink scissors on the floor of one of the cars that were similar to the scissors that the rapper had posted on Instagram a week before. They also found rings that matched the ones he posted on social media.

The rapper already has a lengthy criminal history.

Earlier, he was arrested in South Florida in 2023 for possessing cocaine, tampering with evidence, and violating probation.

In 2025, he faced charges of trafficking oxycodone and having a controlled substance without a prescription.

He has also been charged with driving with an expired license and expired registration tags.
