Rich Paul, who has made a major contribution to push James to land with the Philadelphia 76ers during a buzzing free agency period.

LeBron James’ long-time friend and agent, Rich Paul, has spilled the beans on what really happened on the night the former decided to pick Philly.

Rich Paul who also hosts a podcast, Game Over with Max Kellerman revealed that "James's decision was an emotional roller coaster that ended at midnight.”

Appearing on the latest episode of Game Over on Saturday, July 25.

Paul disclosed that James decided at 1 a.m. ET on Friday, July 24, to sign with the 76ers.

Adding that James was left with three teams: Cleveland, Heat and Warriors.

The decision becomes tough when it comes to picking between a new team such as the Sixers or Warriors and coming back to the Cavs or Heat.

“Who wouldn’t want to play with Steph Curry and Draymond Green. I’m seeing the emotional roller coaster every single day.”

What really inspired NBA superstar to go with the 76ers was Jaylen Brown’ transfer with the Celtics on July 1.

“Ultimately, Philadelphia makes a move and then boom! Now you got Jaylen Brown,” Paul said.

Paul while confirming the rumors that four-time NBA champion was in his sixes and sevens when it comes to the free-agency decision for fifth time in his career.

James went “back and forth” multiple times on Thursday, the night before the NBA world came to know where King James would land.

The 41-year-old James signed a two-year deal valued at 8 million, with a player option and a full 15% trade kicker, on Friday, July 24.
