She hails from San Diego and is an American pro basketball sensation who is signed as a guard with the Chicago Sky in the WNBA.
They reunited as teammates in their WNBA careers after signing with the Dallas Wings after Smith was transferred to the Las Vegas Aces.
NaLyss is not alone in what Carrington accused; it includes Deja Kellu and Aaliyah Nye.
The controversy went viral on July 26 after Carrington posted on Threads, accusing her ex-teammate NaLyssa Smith.
The Chicago Sky guard Carrington also mentioned other WNBA players Deja Kelly and Aaliyah Nye before adding that there were “many more women involved.
However, it is unclear what really happened that led her to go public and accuse her former teammate, but she hinted that her decision was prompted by events or comments made during the WNBA All-Star weekend.
Until now, there has been no response made by Smith, Kelly, or Nye to Carrington’s one-sided narrative of what happened.
