Taylor Swift debuts behind-the-scenes photos after ‘Patient Zero' MV release

Taylor Swift’s much-anticipated music video for her new single, Patient Zero, is finally out.

The 14-time Grammy winner marked the latest addition to her TLOAS era with a heartfelt message while also taking fans behind the scenes of the video’s creation.

Notably, Patient Zero is among the four songs the Cruel Summer hitmaker released as part of The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.

“The Patient Zero video is finally out in the world!” she captioned the latest carousel on her Instagram. “Getting to work with @chivexp was something out of a dream sequence, and I learned so much from getting to watch his genius in action.”

The Fate of Ophelia chart-topper expressed her gratitude to Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell for joining her in the project.

“I want to thank @dakotajohnson and Colin for trusting me with their time, taste, and talent (Giggling with your friend because you’re twinning for an entire shoot was a new and truly delightful experience),” looking back at the shoot, she continued . “And Colin’s turn as a villain is even more impressive when you get to be around him. He’s an absolute light and as kind as they come.”

The Eras Tour superstar also thanked Cara Delevingne for making a cameo as the “lusty other woman.”

The carousel oepned with a photos of Swift and the Verity star reviewing a scene in a tablet. The following slide featured some bits from the music video. 

The 36-year-old global star shared that the latest video making process allows her to explore the cinematic and literary genres while incorporating the elements of gothic ghost stories, true crime and psychological thrillers—territories she had not stepped in before.

In addition to new snapshots with the Materialists actress, the series of photos captured Swift lying on a car and checking the shot via a screen surrounded by production team.

“The house was a metaphor for the coldness of a relationship that’s faded and atrophied,” she continued, while thanking @ethantobman for his insightful production design her editor @chancler.

“And lastly, thank you to the @vmas for giving us a World Premiere at the place where celebrating music videos became a thing. And so much love for you guys, always,” the Opalite singer concluded.

The montage of photos included a photo of Swift standing beside Johnson in front of a gravestone, both standing in front of each other staring into the mirror and other more scenes.
