Olivia Rodrigo makes history at VMAs 2026 with 'yspsfagsil'

Olivia Rodrigo earned a historical milestone at the MTV VMAs, as she was recognised for the fifth time ever at the show.

The 23-year-old pop superstar was unable to attend the ceremony on Sunday, September 27, due to her ongoing The Unraveled Tour, but she became the first solo female artist to win the Best Alternative Song award.

The drop dead hitmaker was awarded for the cure, her single from you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.

Rodrigo's fans celebrated the milestone achievement all over social media, writing, "SOTY," and "so well deserved!!!"

Another added, "AS SHE SHOULDDD," while a third exclaimed, "HISTORY WAS MADE."

More chimed in, "THE MOST DESERVED," and "MOTHER IKTR."
