Pregnant Anne Hathaway turns heads at 'Verity' premiere

Anne Hathaway brought a little Hollywood drama to the Verity premiere — and her maternity look was every bit as striking as the movie.

The pregnant actress, 43, stepped onto the New York red carpet Tuesday, September 29, in a black lace mermaid gown from Prabal Gurung’s atelier collection. 

Styled by Erin Walsh, the look featured a sheer, glittering cape that added plenty of red-carpet flair.

Hathaway finished the outfit with a diamond bracelet and teardrop earrings. Her beauty look stayed understated, with bronze eyes, a nude matte lip and her brunette hair styled half-up, half-down.

The actress is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, and she has made maternity fashion a major part of her packed 2026 schedule. 

She previously revealed that the couple knows their baby’s s*x but are “not saying.”

Hathaway stars as bestselling author Verity Crawford in the psychological thriller, alongside Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett. 

Based on Colleen Hoover’s 2018 novel, the movie follows struggling writer Lowen (Johnson), who gets the chance to finish Verity’s successful book series after the author is left unable to continue.

Hartnett plays Verity’s husband, Jeremy.

With Verity arriving in theaters October 2, Hathaway has another major project added to an already busy year. She previously described the experience of expecting her third child as “very, very fun” and “extremely surreal.”

And judging by her latest red-carpet appearance, she’s making the whole maternity-glam thing look rather effortless.
