William, Harry's uncle marks major victory despite King Charles row

Prince William and Prince Harry's uncle secured a special victory amid a heated row with King Charles.

Earl Spencer's book Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, has broken records, becoming the best-selling non-fiction in the UK this year.

During its opening week on sale, 102,668 copies have been sold, showcasing the interest Britons have in Princess Diana's life to date.

In a statement, Nielsen confirmed the special win. "In its publication week, Swan Song has already become the bestselling non-fiction print book in the UK for 2026 so far."

Spencer's book has also become the highest-selling book of any genre in Britain in 2026.

For the unversed, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, was released on September 22 with many shocking revelations related to King Charles.

Spencer claimed that the then Prince Charles sounded like he won a lottery following the tragic news of Diana's death.

Buckingham Palace was forced to release an urgent statement regarding the accusations.

It reads. "While we do not comment on books as a matter of principle, His Majesty is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise, even many years after such a loss."
