Playstation plus free games October 2026: See full list

Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly games lineup for October 2026.

The new releases are F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force.

All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, October 6, until Monday, November 2.

F1 25 (PS5) 

F1 25 (PS5) is the official video game for the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. It allows players to have single-player experiences such as the Career and My Team 2.0, in which players become the owners of a Formula 1 team or compete online in a new multiplayer experience available in the F1 World. 

Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5) 

Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5) is the punishing Extraction shooter from Crytek set in lost worlds from another time that are now corrupt. Players battle alone or alongside one or two partners against warped monsters and competing Hunters in order to hunt bosses, collect their bounties and extract. The PS5 edition of the game also features a battle royale experience.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2

The third game in the pack is Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS4, PS5), which gives players voxel-style co-op gameplay. The four players will have to choose four companions out of collected characters as the world of squares gets attacked by giant enemies.

Alongside these games, subscribers of PlayStation Plus can get their hands on limited-edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars from October 6 in celebration of the movie’s launch on Sony Pictures Core. Subscribers can access various horror-themed items in exclusive packs like Exclusive HorrorFest Packs containing items for Call of Duty: Warzone, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Overwatch 2.

Subscribers have until October 5 to include September’s games in their collection – these are Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes.
