King Charles and Prince William face unexpected test ahead of Princess Dana's 30th death anniversary as the an emotional and deeply symbolic moment is approaching for the royal family.

The late Princess of Wales may be gone, but she is still alive in the hearts of millions - and remains the unbreakable thread that connects her two sons through shared love, respect and pain.

If Prince William, the heir to the throne, chooses to follow in Prince Harry's footsteps and goes the extra mile while paying a heartfelt tribute to his mother, it could put the monarch in a difficult position.

For the heir to the British throne, honouring Diana is not just a royal duty, it is a son's love. For Charles, it is a reminder of a complex past he has worked hard to move beyond.

In 2027, there will be a moment where history, heart, and healing collide. The world will be watching how a father and his heir choose to remember the woman who changed the monarchy forever.

Prince Harry is already busy in running a personal campaign to restore his late mother Princess Diana's HRH style.

William, 44, will also won't let her mother legacy die,  weighing up how to commemorate the People's Princess, who was 36 when she died in a Paris car crash on August 31, 1997.

He wants a permanent gesture rather than a television tribute. While the Duke of Sussex is said to be separately exploring possible projects honouring their mother, including a tell-all documentary.

However, William is aware that this is an incredibly sensitive subject for his father, who is said to be unimpressed at these rumours; he is thinking of campaigning to have Diana's royal title posthumously restored.

Anything involving Diana's title inevitably reopens one of the most painful periods in the family's history, and Charles would rather not have those decisions relitigated publicly.

But for William this isn't about attacking his father. He remembers how much losing the HRH hurt his mother, and there is an enormous emotional pull in finally putting that right.

Diana ceased to use Her Royal Highness after her 1996 divorce from the then Prince Charles.

Princess Diana's royal title debate attracts fresh attention after Harry's uncle Charles Spencer reignited the issue, whose memoir :Swan Song: Diana, My Sister" claims Queen Elizabeth II offered to restore the HRH style after Diana's death.

Spencer said he declined the offer, believing restoring something that had caused Diana considerable pain only after her death was pointless.

Some royal insiders belive William promised her mother he would eventually restore it himself. The 30th anniversary of Diana's death presents an obvious moment to consider it.

Some royal experts and historians believe William will wait until his own reign to fulfil his long-held wish regarding his late mother, as he knows King Charles has no plans to abdicate for him.
