PESHAWAR: Member Taliban committee Professor Ibrahim said Tuesday that the next round of the dialogue process would be essential.
In a statement, Professor Ibrahim said the decision or Major (retd) Amir to part ways from the government committee would impact the dialogue process. Ibrahim added that he would appeal to Major (retd) Amir to remain part of the process.
According to Professor Ibrahim the role of the committees was to bring the government and Taliban close stressing the importance of the next round of talks.
He added that there had been some difficulties in communicating with the Taliban but Maulana Yousaf Shah was continuing efforts to contact them.
