LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought reply from federal government and Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) by July 17 on petitions against reducing LPG prices.
Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan passed the order on petitions filed by owners of LPG companies against reducing the LPG prices.
Earlier, the petitioner's counsel submitted before the court that Ogra reduced the prices of LPG without consulting LPG companies, which was against the rules.
Therefore, directions must be issued to stop operation of notification regarding reducing LPG prices.
The court after hearing the arguments issued notice to the respondents and sought reply by July 17. (APP)
