Efforts to counter terror will continue: Mian Iftikhar

PESHAWAR: The provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain naming Hilal-e-Imtiaz award, given to him by the government of Pakistan, to the martyrs in fighting war against terrorism expressed hope that the efforts will continue.

Addressing the ceremony held here on Wednesday, Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that he sacrificed the life of his only son, adding that 'but the more important sacrifices are of his party workers, officers of security forces, soldiers and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.'

He said that he is pleased to receive Hilal-e-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan and he will soon send his award to the leadership of ANP which would be placed in the party office.

Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that the struggle against terrorists will continue till the last breath.
