CNG prices likely to increase by Rs19 per kg

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Tuesday approved the CNG and LPG policy guideline, Geo News reported.

The meeting of the ECC was held with Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh in chair. The committee approved LPG and CNG policy guidelines.

In accordance with the policy guideline, CNG prices are expected to be raised by Rs19 a kilogram that would push the price of the commodity to Rs76.80 per kg.

However, the final decision in this regard will be made by the committee headed by Farooq H. Naek

Meanwhile, the ECC also approved the LPG policy guideline under which a levy would be imposed on its price.
