Joint investigation team formed for Dr Ali Haider, son murder case
LAHORE: A joint investigation team was formed on Monday to investigate the murders of famous eye surgeon Dr Ali Haider along with his son who were targeted few days ago in Lahore, Geo News reported.

According to details, on the recommendation of Lahore police the Punjab home ministry has made a joint team to investigate the target-killing of Dr. Ali Haider and his son.

Furthermore a report that contains the record of target killing in last five months has been sent to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab.

The team comprises police officers, Intelligence Bureau and Counter Terrorism Department.

On the other hand, police have made a report that contains details of killing of Shakir Rizvi (18 October 2012), Masood Abid (4 December) and Dr. Ali Haider and his son (18 February 2013).

According to report all four deceased had sustained bullets that look alike and a same group may be involved in all incidents. All people sustained bullets on torso and faces of the deceased were made target, however the time of the attacks were common in all incidents while all motorcyclists were wearing helmet.
