Ex-MPA Sardar Ali Khan jailed for 3 years over fake degree

SWABI: A District and Session Judge on Saturday handed down three-year jail term to former member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Sardar Ali Khan in a fake degree case, Geo News reported.

According to reports, District and Session Court in Swabi sent the former MPA to jail for three years with a fine of Rs5,000 after he was proved guilty of possessing fake degree.

Police have already arrested Sardar Ali Khan after registration of case. The Election Commission of Pakistan had said that criminal proceedings would be initiated against the fake degree holders.
