EU election observers visits Naushera District Court

NAUSHERA: A delegation of European Union’s (EU) election observer mission visited Nushehra District Court (NSC) and reviewed the arrangements for May 11 polls, Geo News reported.

According to details, a delegation of EU election observer mission led by Gert-Michael Binder and Marie Gaume went through the details of arrangements made for polls and also took information regarding it.

On the occasion, District Returning Officer (DRO) District Judge Nushehra Abdul Rauf Khan told the delegation that arrangements for organizing fair and free elections have been completed, while the efforts are also underway to encourage women for casting votes.

The services of Pakistan Army and Frontier Constabulary would also be taken on the sensitive polling station for security.
