PML-N candidate wins NA-41

WANA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Ghalib Khan Wazir has won National Assembly seat NA-41 in South Waziristan in a partial re-election, according to unofficial and unconfirmed results.

Khan secured 7991 votes while independent candidate Ali Wazir secured 7534 votes. The Returning Officer said that re-polling was held at four polling stations after the Election Commission received complaints of rigging during polling on May 11.

The partial re-election was held on May 21, the Returning Officer added.
