Sindh to recruit 10,000 policemen: Qaim

KHAIRPUR: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has said 10,000 police officials, including 7,000 constables and 3,000 constables would be recruited to further improve law and order situation in the province,

Addressing party workers on Friday, he said that the ongoing operation in Karachi was underway and had achieved success as suspects involved in the killing of 50 people were caught by law enforcers.

He said that the operation was launched after the consent of all the political parties,

Shah said that process of delimitations was underway and after its completion the Sindh government will conduct local government elections.
