PTI to resume sit-in, block Nato supplies for the third day

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI)’s sit-in for blocking Nato supplies through Torkham border in protest against the US drone strikes will resume for the third day on Tuesday here, Geo News reported.

PTI and its ally Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) activists have been staging sit-in against drone attacks at Hayatabad Toll Plaza here for the last three days, which beginning since morning winds up in the evening after dusk for an overnight break.

Nine trailers carrying containers were halted on the first day of the sit-in, while one on the second day. PTI activists after having checked their papers forced the drivers of these trailers from further proceeding to Torkham border and return to Peshawar.
