FAISALABAD: Jamiat Ulema-I-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that tribal norms should be taken into consideration before the talks with the Taliban were initiated.
Talking to media on Saturday, he also stressed the need for an end to public speaking before ceasefire between the government and the militants.
He said he had never presented himself for playing role in talks instead he always called for parliament’s role.
Fazl said that he had always remained disassociated from Pervez Musharraf issue. He also prayed for Altaf Hussain and refused to comment over MQM chief’s recent statement about a potential threat to his life.
