Imran pays electricity bill for Zaman Park house
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has made the payment against the electricity bill along with surcharge for his house in Zaman Park despite his repeated calls for civil disobedience.

However, now Imran Khan says he does not own the house and that it belongs to his brother in law.

According to Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), Imran Khan had installed three electricity meters in his house to save money. They said Imran Khan will be asked to disconnect two additional meters after conducting a checking.

The PTI chairman had given repeated calls for civil disobedience during his speeches to the participants of his protest sit-in Islamabad, saying he would not neither pay his electricity bills nor pay any taxes to the government.

But, fearing disconnection of power supply, he paid his electricity bill along with surcharge.
