Man burns wife over property dispute

According to sources, Ghullam Abbas wanted his wife to transfer a plot of land in her name over to him. Upon his spouse’s refusal, Abbas doused his wife with petrol during an argument, and set her alight.
The woman was rushed to the Allied Hospital in critical condition where doctors were unable to save her life.
On the request of the deceased family police has taken Ghullam Abbas into custody and has started an investigation.
