Sources said CID police, on a tip-off, conducted raid in Manghopir area, where the accused opened fire on the team. In retaliatory fire, Firdos Khan alias Firdos Baba was killed while his comrade managed to flee.
Police said the accused was commander of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Mehsud group and the terrorist was mastermind of 2007 Karsaz bomb blast.
