Plumber’s son shows academic brilliance

LAHORE: The son of a plumber from Kasur has secured second position in the matric examinations from the Lahore Board.

Hafiz Haroon Rasheed wants to appear for civil service examinations (CSS) and serve the country. He secured second position in the arts group of the matric examination by scoring 946. Rasheed said that along with his studies he also helps his father in the plumbing business.

Rasheed added that he is proud to be the son of a plumber and that his journey had just began. His father praised Allah for giving respect to a poor man.
