Pervez Musharraf reaches Karachi
KARACHI: Former president Pervez Musharraf has reached Karachi from Islamabad, Geo News reported on Saturday.

Strict security arrangements were made ahead of his arrival in the metropolis while areas adjacent to Shahra-e-Faisal have been secured.

According to his lawyer, the former dictator will stay at his daughter's house and will get medical treatment at the PNS Shifa Hospital.

The former military ruler was recently shifted to his residence in Islamabad from the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology, where he had landed after developing a heart problem while on his way to a Special Court conducing his trial for imposing state of emergency in 2007.
