Five notorious gang war accused killed in shootout with Rangers

KARACHI: Five notorious members of Lyari gang war were killed in exchange of fire with Rangers in Malir Naddi area in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to Rangers spokesman, the accused, killed in an action, have been identified as Akbar Maliri, Sheeraz Comrade, Khalid Lashari, Gulab Hassan alias Peeru and Yousuf Pathan.

They were involved in terrorism, murder and other heinous crimes. Arms were also recovered from the custody of the gang war members.

Note: It has been confirmed that Shiraz Comrade was not among those killed in the encounter.
