Injured Hafeez out of Pakistan’s World Cup squad

SYDNEY: Pakistan’s all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is out of the World Cup 2015 squad due to injury.

Doctors have advised Hafeez to rest for three week as he was suffering from a foot injury.

Nasir Jamshed is a strong candidate to replace Hafeez.

The team management has apprised Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan about the injury of Hafeez.

Commenting on Muhammad Hafeez and Junaid Khan’s departure Shahryar Khan said it is not a good sign for Pakistan, but added that injuries are part of the game.
