Mehrangate spilled all beans: Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Saturday said Mehran bank scam had exposed involvements in corrupt practices of those who had themselves been raising hue and cry against corruption.

Talking to media men at the airport after arriving here from Islamabad, Dr. Awan said the Fountain House at the Jail Road in Lahore was waiting for Shahbaz Sharif and that he should soon be there.

In reaction to Shahbaz Sharif's statement of 'Ali Baba chalees chor', she said Shahbaz Sharif himself had 'admitted to his theft by signing a letter of apology before fleeing from the country in the calm of night'. "His every involvement in corrupt practices has been exposed by Mehran bank scandal," she said.

She said Shahbaz Sharif was spending less money on laptops being distributed and more on its advertisement.
