KARACHI: The price of gold continued its upward march on Tuesday as the commodity registered an increase of Rs1000 per tola to hit a new record at Rs58,000, Geo News reported.
The continuous rise in local gold prices is being attributed to the ever increasing rate of the yellow metal in the international markets.
The price of 10-gram gold shot up by Rs860 to Rs49,415 on Tuesday throughout the country.
The commodity is being sold at 1,776 dollars per ounce in the international markets after registering a gain of 10 dollars.
