Six children die of measles in Nowshera
The disease claimed lives of five Afghan children and one Pakistani child

NOWSHERA: Six children died of measles on Wednesday in Nowhshera’s Kund Khairabad refugee camp, said in-charge basic health centre Dr. Fazal Ameen.
The disease claimed lives of five Afghan children and one Pakistani child. The deaths occurred within four days.
According to Dr. Fazal Ameen to curb the disease, children in the Kund Khairabad refugee camp and adjacent villages have been injected anti-measles vaccines and administered vitamin drops as well.
The physician added that an awareness campaign has also been initiated in the area.
