Australia’s largest stadium, the historical Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), was conquered by swarms of seagulls on Wednesday.

The cheeky birds refused to be deterred by the players present in the ground and the admin had no option but to stop the Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and Tasmania for some minutes. Australian cricketers Aaron Finch, Matthew Wade, Peter Siddle, George Bailey and James Faulkner were playing the match.

The MCG is often taken over by seagulls and has tried many times in the past to stop its unwelcome guests – to no avail. These seagulls are pretty determined!
