US consul general vows to continue support for Pakistan

 

 KARACHI: The United States Consul General Grace Shelton said that it was an important day for her country.

She said that relations between Pakistan and the US will strengthen. "No matter who the administration is we will always strive to improve relations between the two countries."

"Our foreign policy is based on national interest and they don't change when the government changes. Also emotions don't form national interests," she said.

She was speaking to Geo News after Trump won the US presidential elections.
