Nokia 3310 to make a comeback: Reports

The phone remembered for its ‘indestructible’ exterior is ready to make a much anticipated comeback.

Throw it down from the top of a building and into a puddle of mud, the sturdy Nokia 3310 never gave up on its owner.

Almost 17 years after it was first released in 2000, Nokia reportedly plans to release the phone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month on February 26.

Fondly remembered for its durable battery and engaging gaming options (Snake), the phone was discontinued in 2005.

The handset remains to be sold through third-party channels such as eBay and Amazon Marketplace, years after the manufacturer discontinued production.

According to some sources, in addition to the Nokia 3310, the company is set to release three other phones at the MWC.

Nokia 3, 5, and 6 will run Anrdoid 7.0, according to a report.

Mobile phone reporter and phone leaker Evan Blass said the phone will be pay “homage’ to the 3310.

HMB Global, which owns the rights to the Nokia brand, reportedly intends to market the Nokia 3310 to European consumers, who may be interested in using it as a second phone.

According to some reports, the Nokia 3310 will be priced at €59, and marketed on the nostalgia and long-lasting battery factors.
