KARACHI: Aiming to win the ICC Champions Trophy title and give the nation an Eid gift next month, the Pakistan cricket team continues to work hard at nets.

Pakistan practised for over two hours at Edgbaston on Friday to overcome minor shortcomings and little fine-tuning ahead of the tournament which starts on June 1.

Coach Mickey Arthur took players in different groups for training so that players can work on specific areas.

Bowling coach Azhar Mahmood worked with bowlers to explain them on use of white ball in English condition, while batsmen were trained for power hitting.

On Saturday, Pakistan team will play its first warm up match against Bangladesh at Edgbaston and it is expected that the coaching staff would play youngsters in the match to test their mettle ahead of the tournament.
