NEW DELHI: A musician stunned the internet as he played guitar while lying on the operating table for seven hours.

According to Indian media, the man, identified as 32-year-old Tusshar, was being treated for a neurological disorder known as Musician’s Dystonia, which rendered three of his left hand's fingers useless.

Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder caused by brain sending incorrect information to the muscles. It causes prolonged, involuntary muscle contractions, which cause the affected pars of body to twist into abnormal postures.

During the surgery, which lasted seven hours, the doctors "burned" his brain to treat the neurological disorder.

Within three days of surgery, he was able to walk out of the hospital and all set to play guitar again.
