Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Talal Chaudhry said Imran Khan has admitted before the Supreme Court of not having a money trail of the purchase and later sale of his London apartment.

Talking to Geo News after Imran Khan's press conference, Talal said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief wants everyone to submit details of their assets but backs out when it comes to him. "He gives a trail of lies [instead of money] when his financial records are sought."

He spoke about the source of money for Imran’s Bani Gala estate, saying it was unusual and unbelievable that a woman funds her former husband after their separation. “Imran is the only man on whom his former wife spends billions.”

Earlier, Imran was addressing the media in Islamabad where he said he has not taken a single penny out of Pakistan.

The PTI chief added his case was not similar to the ones being investigated under the Panama case as he only bought one apartment in London and that too from the money he earned as a cricketer, while the Sharif family has stashed billions in ill-gotten wealth outside the country.

On Saturday, Imran’s counsel Naeem Bokhari submitted details of the money the PTI chief earned while playing cricket for English counties, showing that it was through that amount he managed to buy an apartment in London.
