LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan Chief Imran Khan got a taste of his own medicine, making an apparent reference to the cricketer-turned-politician’s money trail of his Bani Gala residence.

The CM Punjab made the remark following the PTI leader’s media talk where he said that he has submitted the money trail documents to the apex court and the impression that his case is similar to Panama Leaks is a misconception.

Shehbaz Sharif said earlier in the day that those trying to get to find their way to power will get nothing out of hurling allegations at a sincere leader.

While hinting at the opposition and their demands of the prime minister’s resignation, Shehbaz said the people who were campaigning against the prime minister are the ones whom public rejected during previous elections.

“But the public will not elect them in the upcoming general elections, of 2018,” he said. “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif lives in the hearts of two million Pakistanis.”
