250 students visited PMA under internship programme: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: A delegation of two hundred and fifty young students from various educational institutions across the country visited Pakistan Military Academy Kakul (PMA), as part of ongoing annual internship program by ISPR.

Students were briefed on various aspects of leadership grooming, academic excellence and professional military training imparted to the cadets and lady officers.

While speaking with the visiting students, Commandant Pakistan Military Academy Major General Abdullah Dogar emphasised on the importance of character building, comradeship and strict discipline routine observed by the young officers at PMA.

During visit, the visiting students displayed keen interest in the field training given to the cadets on sub-conventional warfare.

PMA Kakul is located at Kakul in Abbottabad. The Pakistan Military Academy is similar in function to Sandhurst, Saint-Cyr, and West Point, and provides training to the officers of Pakistan Army and Allied countries.
