Mushahidullah Khan talks to media in Lahore

LAHORE: Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan on Sunday claimed that the four-day GT Road rally held by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was bigger than any gathering held by the country's popular leaders, including Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.

Addressing media here, the PML-N leader said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri can’t fathom the participation of masses in the rally and are worried.

Khan also said that both PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani have emphasised on the need to have democracy in the country, adding that a democratic setup guarantees respect for all institutions, including army and judiciary.

PML-N led by Nawaz Sharif held a four-day "homecoming" rally from Islamabad to Lahore, in what was being dubbed as a "power show" after Nawaz was disqualified from his seat as the prime minister.
