MULTAN: Senior politician Javed Hashmi said on Sunday that instead of accountability revenge is being taken from former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, adding that no civilian government is tolerated in Pakistan.

The former PTI leader was addressing a press conference in Multan.

He said that Imran Khan and Tahir-ul Qadri aren’t leaders but pawns.

Disrespecting vote is equal to disrespecting Pakistan, he added.

The veteran politician said that the only way Pakistan can witness stability is through votes.

Javed Hashmi, formerly associated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, last month claimed that PTI Chairman Imran had informed him of his plans to dissolve the parliament during the 2014 Islamabad sit-in.
