An update rolled by Facebook has brought some changes to the main News Feed, a press release announced on Wednesday.

The updated comment style makes it easier to view comments that are direct replies to a specific user.

The social media giant has also made improvements to increase readability on the page.

Not only is text more legible thanks to an increased colour contrast, larger link previews allow users to read everything more easily.

Updated icons and larger Like, Comment, and Share buttons make it easier for users to tap on them.

Circular profile pictures now show who posts or comments on each post.

Options to see where a link will take a user before they click it or whose post users are interacting with while they're in the post makes navigation much more user-friendly.

A prominent back button allows users to return to their News Feed once they have finished reading a post.
