Intensive security operations conducted in Balochistan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Security forces in Balochistan have conducted intensive intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the province and have foiled major terrorist activity, said a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the last four days, FC Balochistan has conducted IBOs in Sonmiani, Kleri Dhal, Dera Bugti, Dashat areas of Balochistan.

ISPR added that search operations were also carried out in different parts of Quetta. Several suspects were arrested during the operations and a large cache of arms and ammunition were recovered.

Recovered arms included IEDs, grenades, rockets, detonators and communication equipment.
