Cricket greats come together at glitzy awards ceremony tonight

LAHORE: A glittering awards ceremony will bring together former Pakistan cricketing legends, current players and World XI stars under one roof in a memorable gathering in Lahore tonight.

Players from the star-studded World XI lineup, former and current cricketers as well as representatives from the International Cricket Council will be attending the awards galore.

Among the former players invited are Misbah-ul-Haq, Younis Khan and Shahid Afridi, with the event intended to serve as a farewell ceremony for these stars at the same time.

The Pakistan Cricket Board will be presenting awards to the players in eight different categories, including Lifetime Achievement Awards.

The event will be presented by Geo News, and will be aired on the channel at a later date.
