Looks like the entire nation is happy with skipper Sarfraz Ahmed – and why shouldn’t they be? He’s been unbeaten in ODIs and T20Is ever since leading Pakistan to the Champions Trophy gold in June this year.

Except for one person; and that’s none other than his wife, who is a bit grumpy that the busy captain doesn’t get to spend as much time at home as she’d like.

“Keeping the wife happy is the most difficult thing in the world,” a laughing Sarfraz told former cricketer Ramiz Raja in an interview post-T20I match against Sri Lanka in Lahore.

“My wife always complains I don’t give her much time. It gets [a bit difficult to manage] due to the busy cricket schedule,” said the 30-year old.

“But I try to make it up to her by bringing her gifts,” he quickly added with a smile.

On Pakistan’s high-flying form, Sarfraz said the youngsters in his team are working very hard and learning from their mistakes.

About his rather enthusiastic demeanor on the field, Sarfraz said he enjoys great friendship with all of the players.

“But I still keep getting angry,” he remarked.

The skipper said that he is confident of taking on any opponent anywhere in the world with his current team.

To a question, Sarfraz said that the responsibility of captaining the team hasn’t made his hair turn grey.

“But I’m definitely going bald,” he laughed.
