It's official!

Jesse Pinkman lives and he’s coming back in the feature-length movie based on AMC’s Breaking Bad.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the feature-length movie will be a sequel revolving around Pinkman played by Aaron Paul.

Jesse was last seen sobbing with joy after escaping a group of white supremacists in the series finale in 2013.

The new movie will air first on Netflix, then move to AMC, in a reverse of how the series originally aired, Deadline reported.

Not much is known about the Breaking Bad movie, however, it will be written and directed by Breaking Bad creator/executive producer Vince Gilligan, who also co-created and executive produces AMC prequel series Better Call Saul.

Breaking Bad which ran from 2008 until 2013, told the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with lung cancer. To make ends meet White begins making and selling methamphetamine with a former student and eventually turning into a powerful drug lord.

In November, Bryan Cranston who played the role of White told the Dan Patrick Show that he hadn't received a script and wasn't sure if his character would appear. But he said he would "absolutely" love to come back.

“There appears to be a movie version of Breaking Bad but I honestly have not even read the script," Cranston, 62, said.

"So there's question whether or not we would even see Walter White in this movie."

Despite, White dying at the end of the series, Cranston said he would "absolutely" be interested in bringing White back should show creator Gilligan ask him to do so.

"He's a genius," Cranston said. "I'm excited about it because it's Breaking Bad. It was the greatest professional period of my life. And I can't wait to see those people even if I just come by to visit."

Cranston said he believed the film would offer fans some more closure for "at least a couple" of the characters.
