Recipe: Hot butter cuttlefish

Want to prepare fish the authentic Chinese way? Well, you are in luck as we bring you this special recipe of ‘Hot butter cuttlefish ‘. This recipe tastes best with plain rice or vegetable fried rice.

Ingredients:

Cuttlefish 200 gms

Celery (cut in julienne style) 30 gms

Red chilli (diced) 15 gms

Onion (cut in julienne style) 40 gms

Flour 30 gms

Corn starch 30 gms

Salt 02 gms

Chilli powder 03 gms

Sugar 03 gms

Water 40 ml

Butter 20 gms

Oil for frying

Method:

Place the cuttlefish into a steel bowl, add the corn starch, flour and water in it, mix well.

Now, heat the wok, add oil in it till the temperature reaches to 200 degree centigrade, fry the cuttlefish till it turns golden in colour. Set aside the fried fish.

In another pan, add the butter, onion, chilli and celery. Stir fry for a while and then add the fried cuttlefish and rest ingredients. Toss well.

Arrange the cuttlefish on a platter and serve.

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes; Serves: 1
