Chinese cuisine has a tremendous range of flavours and styles. Try this mouth-watering recipe of ‘Stir fried Chicken with bamboo shoots & mushrooms’. Try it out and indulge in the yummy flavours. Happy eating!
Chicken breast (fine shredded) 1 kg Bamboo shoot (fine shredded) 250 gms
Black mushroom (soaked and finely shredded) 200 gms
Green chilli (deseed fine shredded) 25 gms
Red chilli (deseed fine shredded) 25 gms
Green onion (cut in to 2 inches) 100 gms
Oyster sauce 70 ml
Soya sauce 50 ml Sugar 2 tbsps
Chicken powder 2 tbsps
Oil 1 ltr
Chicken stock 1 cup
Corn flour 1 cup
Salt according to taste
Marinate chicken with salt and corn flour.
Heat oil in the wok for about 3 minutes and add marinated chicken stir for 1 minute until chicken is well cooked.
Take it out from oil, drain it and set aside.
Reheat the wok, pour some oil and follow to add green onion, mushrooms and bamboo shoots.
Add green and red chillies, stir for 30 seconds, then add oyster sauce, soya sauce and chicken stock.
Add sugar chicken seasoning powder and stir fry chicken for 1 minute.
Mix water with corn flour to make a thick paste.
Dish out the chicken and serve with steamed rice.
