Pak Railways to run business trains

LAHORE: The management of the Pakistan Railways has announced here today to run an air-conditioned business trains of world standard where breakfast and dinner will be provided free of charge to passengers.

Talking with Ameen Hafeez of Geo News, general manager Railways Saeed Akhtar told that t he business trains would be launched on August 14 and they would be run in collaboration with private sector.

The business trains, fully air-conditioned, will proceed simultaneously from Karachi and Lahore in evening and they will reach their destination next day.

The GM Railways said that an amount of Rs220 million, incurred by private sector, is being spent on renovation of these business trains.
