Portugal football team captain Cristiano Ronaldo is searching for the kind ladies at McDonald’s who slipped him leftover food in his childhood days.

The football star is known for his modest and kind gestures and in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan revealed this secret from the older days.

Ronaldo told the journalist about his humble background in Madeira, where he used to play football with the other children.

The football player said that when they were a little hungry, they would go to the nearby McDonald’s outlet and ask if they could get any burgers.

He recalled that a worker named Edna was always there to slip him food, along with two others.

Ronaldo said that the McDonald’s shutdown and he never found those women again, despite searching.

The star player hoped that he will get to find the ladies through this interview.

"I want to invite them to Turin or Lisbon to come to have dinner with me because I want to give something back,” he told the interviewer.
